Microlys is a range of high performing modified starches with excellent properties, based on selected potato starch.

The Microlys modified starches gives a short, smooth and shiny texture. The products also provide a pleasant mouth feel and neutral taste.

Microlys starches are high performing in many different applications, whether we are talking about mild, medium or harsh process conditions. The Microlys range includes both cook-up and cold-swelling starches. The Microlys starches are very process stable with a high acid stability and a long shelf-life. They also provide excellent freeze thaw stability.

Cost effective
The high viscosity of the Microlys products makes them a cost effective alternative in food applications. A dosage reduction of 10-15%, compared to other starches not based on potato, can often be achieved.​​​
